The Intro to Baseball program is designed to introduce new players to the sport of baseball in a non-competitive environment while teaching them the fundamentals of throwing, hitting, and fielding. Its relaxed, instructional format is perfect for families who want to gauge their child's interest in the sport without making a heavy financial or time commitment.
The Intro to Baseball program is held in the Spring Season each year. Each Saturday, starting in late April and running until early June (except Memorial Day weekend), participants gather at Boyertown Community Park for a 1-hour session. Each week will focus on a different aspect of the game, with players rotating through stations at each session to keep them engaged and interested. Parents get to participate too! The season will conclude with a fun day at the park where the players will have a chance to show off their new skills by competing in fun games that emphasize what they learned throughout the season.
The program is open to boys and girls who will be 4 years old on April 30th of the year in which they participate.
